The world-renowned Hollywood actress and model hit the big screen this month with her eponymously named movie ‘Barbie’.
Prior to the movie release, doll manufacturer Mattel launched a new set of dolls last year, including a Barbie with her own hot pink behind-the-ear hearing aids.
Moving away from the stereotypical Barbie, the new line-up is designed to be more inclusive. Celebrating diversity with a wide variety of skin tones, body types, eye and hair colours; the dolls are more reflective of a world kids see today.
With many people, of all different ages, experiencing deafness and hearing loss - we’re so happy to see the famous fashionista proudly wearing her behind-the-ear hearing aids.
